Spring in Pennsylvania is fickle to say it mildly. Day by day you just seriously do not know if you are walking into Spring, Summer, or the dead of winter. We love all the seasons and we are not hating on Spring or Spring weddings - we are just saying to have a Plan A, B, C, & D...just in case. Krissa and Kyle's day was a beautiful, sunny and very windy day. Normally wind is troublesome but on this day in the Hershey Gardens with the flowers throwing their petals around and the girls dresses billowing it was actually perfect. Waiting for the wind to pause so we could get around fly away hair and windy microphones were minor blips.

It was an amazing day filled with so much love and emotion. We have history and so many reasons to love this family but being a part of capturing this day for them was so special.

Krissa & Kyle, we cannot thank you enough. We are so happy for you and cannot wait to watch your love story keep unfolding.

Mckenna, you mean so much to us... we love and adore you.

Chad & Becca, thank you for being great friends and being such a big part of Addie's "extended" family. People were telling me all day how loved she is.

Addie (my oldest daughter, Ellie's older sister) did make up for the wedding and acted as a little personal assistant which was so incredibly helpful. She did however wear the wrong shoes and made me switch with her before the night was over. Heels while photographing a wedding is not ideal.

This wedding was also extra special because Ellie mainly captured video the entire day for the first time. She normally is shooting 90% photos. The wind and shooting both with the camera + video presented some first time challenges (which we have already figured out) BUT I cannot tell you how amazed I am with Miss Ellie Rose. While going over all the footage with her and then seeing the end result of the slideshow she put together. SHE IS AMAZING AND THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING. We have so much to look forward to with The Work of Wanderers and life in general. Stay tuned! Happy Monday and have a wonderful week. **Dont forget to watch the slideshow at the bottom of this post!
